Nerizza Morido says the smile on a patient’s face when they are able to leave the hospital and go home healthier than when they arrived is how she knows she makes a difference at Sentara. Morido is a Unit Coordinator at Sentara Leigh Hospital where she has been a leader in medical-surgical unit for seven years.

“I am committed to keeping patients and families involved in their care,” she says. “The opportunity to serve is so enriching and motivating. I know that my team and I are making an enormous positive impact in the lives of our patients and the community.”
